From Alliance to Lincoln
Founder & Executive Director
Stan Parker
Before he led a radio network, Stan Parker anchored an offensive line. A captain and starting guard on Nebraska's 1986 team that beat LSU in the Sugar Bowl, Parker is remembered for something bigger than football. The night before that season's Oklahoma game, he and OU running back Spencer Tillman sat in fellowship for two hours — and the next day, ten players, five from each team, knelt together at midfield in what is believed to be the first organized joint prayer in college football.
That instinct for connection became a calling. Parker founded Mission Nebraska to have a positive impact on his home state, and out of it grew MyBridge — a 501(c)(3) network of radio stations and ministries he has led as executive director for more than two decades.
Most weekday mornings you will still find him behind the microphone, co-hosting Morning Conversation from 6:30 to 8:30 — connecting listeners to God, to each other, and to the work of God in their communities.
